Yesterday, I had some time and worked on the Village Planner. It now has an input field for the name of the village and you can select your tribe. Both informations are saved to the URL when clicking on “make bookmark”. The tribe is saved as parameter 't' and the name as 'n'.

Should i start?
Discovered Travian 2 days ago. I'm considering joining the next opening server, but i wonder wether or not i m late. There are already lots of groups/alliances and good experienced players. Does that matter? If i start, which race would u recommend to start with?

Travian is a great game and I played it for two years. I quit because it took too much of my time. To survive at Travian, you have to be very active. Checking your account 2-3 times a day is absolute minimum, the more the better.
I always played the Gauls, they are quite good at defense. But the other races have also their strengths. The alliances are newly formed every round, so there is no problem with starting with the next round.
The experienced players usually register on the day the server opens. You probably want to wait some days, probably one week. Then you will be more on the outside, where you eventually get more time to learn how the game works.
